The first camera I ever touched was my Dad's Yashica(DX). The only memories I have of that camera is when Dad will ask me to take a picture and I take it without
opening the lens cover. By the time I realize it, its way too late. So the only way to keep out of trouble is open the lens cap and pretend as if nothing happend.
The best part is there was no digital dispay during those days. And when the film was developed, all you need to do is wonder and say what happened??? What a waste....
Then got my first Nikon digital Point and Shoot camera, the Nikon Coolpix 5600. It was a very nice camera for the hefty price that nikon put on during 2005, say close to $500. Never used that camera for photography but rather to capture some good moments with my frineds and family. Then one fine day while on a trip to Bandipur National Park, Karnataka India, I realized the potential of the camera. And that's where it all started.....
After a couple of years of playing with the Nikon Coolpix 5600, I got myself a D90 with 18-105mm VR Kit lens, a 50mm 1.8D prime and a sigma70-300mm. I used these lenses
during the initial phase and slowly kept upgrading my kit towards the Full Frame world and this is where I stand today:
Ok, that's enough of photography. So, what do I do when I am not shooting or processing any images? Spending time with my beautiful wife, working out at the Gym,
may be building a RC Car or a Helicopter, Collecting stamps and coins, listenting to music and browsing through craigs list for good used photography equipments and of course, working on this website.
